Spend your summer nights at The Music Center with music and dancing under the stars on Jerry Moss Plaza! The Music Center’s Summer SoundWaves, a new outdoor music experience featuring affordable, family-friendly concerts, presents the sounds of Los Angeles with the musical fusions of Afro-Mexican rhythms and pulsating electronic dance beats.
Presented in association with Juke Bounce Werk and dublab, "A Night with Juke Bounce Werk" features special guest artist JLin, an experimental electronic artist and composer and one of the most prominent female producers of the current generation, along with a line-up of some of the best DJs from across the country and Los Angeles, including one of the three original founders of Footwork, DJ Clent performing with his son DJ Corey; as well as Juke Bounce Werk members DJ SWISHA, DJ Noir, Jae Drago, G Frequent, and just added to the artists lineup: Kush Jones.
Not to be outdone by the music, Chicago Footwork ambassadors King Charlesand his Creation Global Crew will dance on stage during the DJ sets with their fast-paced footwork style and will share their exceptional talent and skill with the crowd, teaching basic steps to keep them moving throughout the night.
Masks are required for all guests 2 years of age and older for entry into the concert.
